Jason Schreier at Kotaku has reported that Blizzard has cancelled a StarCraft first-person shooter in favor of putting more resources onto Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, projects expected to be major announcements at BlizzCon.
Game studios develop and cut games before they see the light of day, but fans will remember that StarCraft: Ghost, a third-person shooter, was also scrapped after several years of development.
